One snapped chain (mine) - one crash (my mate and it's on video ) - bizarre corn field induced rash (my mate again!!)- bramble cuts and some walking up big hills. Let's do it all again next sunday
I thought it would be a good idea to do a pre-event training ride on the actual route we are doing next Sunday. Now i'm thinking maybe it wasn't such a good idea!!

From January up until the wiggle ride in Jun last year, I rode 322 miles
This year, I have only ridden 172 miles.
The times for the actual ride last year and the training ride (identical routes) today were almost the same.
Hows that work then?

I love the down hill bits. Towards the end of the ride though, I was getting tired and that certainly makes the downhill sections more interesting. I thought I would be able to ride up a couple of the really steep hills. No frickin chance. I'll need to get a few hills in this week ready for Sunday

Thanks Al. I love the downhill sections. My mate leaves me going up the hills, I leave him going down them
It must be all the off-roading on the dirt bikes
There are some cracking DH sections too. Great fun
