Made some new mounting plates for the missus footpegs and see seems a lot happier with them. It has lowered the cans to nearly where they were but there still more or less levelImageImage

Before I left work I softened the suspension front and rear a little as it was a bit hard, what a difference, I'll need a wider front tyre soon

Just spent more time with the bike this evening. Giving her a half good clean, would be a full deep clean if I had a garage and abba stand :(

Anyway a good shampoo and decrease of the wheels and a coat of GT85 over the wheels, frame, plastics and she is looking younger already

The missus seems happy with the position of the foot pegs, supprised her by collecting her from work and she said they felt very comfty

Marty, those pipes are wasted on a slow blue bike, at the very least they should be on your yellow bike, or preferably on mine

Do you want to sell your pipes?

I reckon they would look better on a red one!!!

Finally- after seventeen changes of carb settings- got mine running cleanly, pulling well throughout the range and going well enough for a track day on Tuesday at Brands.
Misfire during the many jetting changes turned out to be a slightly chafed wire leading to front coil.......Doh!

Ah, well.

I will use the track day as a further testing session, should have it spot on for the last gravel trap of the day.

Then I'll get it dyno'd and an output baseline established, followed by installing the large airbox, rejet and set up, then measure again.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
