VOLTAGE Gauge

Post by sirch345 »

Does anybody know where I can get a LED type voltage gauge :?: Which is permantly fitted to the bike, so you can keep an eye on the charging.
I went to order one today from Nippy Normans and to my supprise it had gone up in price by 50% (which I thought a bit harsh) to £30 + p&p. Only recently it was £20 + p&p I did ring them and that price is correct. Its apparently to do with the fall in the dollar against the pound.

The ones at Nippy Normans are these, but it doesn't have to be the same :!:

Why fit one to the bike ? Buy an Oxford Oximiser ( i think thats what its called !)
Bought one last year and leave it on when garaged, never had a problem with it.
My father in law and a mate bought one a piece at the same time and they work perffick ! :D

It basically tells what the charging system is doing Stu. IE. if the voltage R/Rectifier decides to stop working you should know immediately before it has time to take the battery with it :!:
