Surging between 3-6000 RPM

Hi am new to this posting lark so here goes bought my vtr October last year and I love it but....it has a surging problem which is a pain seems to be running weak but will accelerate with no probs have checked all the obvious fuel ,diaphragms, floats and valves etc any tips would be great

Try a new air filter.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Make sure the overflow tubes from the carbies are not pinched off and are pointing down.
I'd also double check the diaphrams as they were causing my surge issue even though they werent cracked or anything obvious after spending hunderds and hundreds on the bike a new diaphram would have fixed it for $15.
It may only be my opinion but it's mine!
