Re: What are you currently ignoring on your bike?
For the last 1500 miles or so I have been ignoring my CCTs....
Did the stopper mod today so now the fear is gone!
May have to stop ignoring the fact that my fairing is red and my tank and tail are orange next....

Re: What are you currently ignoring on your bike?
Ignoring the All Balls taper roller head bearings, that I only fitted at Christmas, which are now self centering because I ignored the fact that they had too much slack in.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

..........the vibration through the bars under heavy braking
Slightly concerned I might have warped discs, but tomorrow's job is to check all the bobbins are free n a bit more preload methinks

warped discs feels normally like "pulsing"as the pistons move in and out, pushing the fluid back and forth as you squeeze.Vibration may be a sticky piston, wheel bearings, loose or broken bolts (I've known a forkleg bolt snapped but held in place due to corrosion and it gave this fault).
Its a good idea to undo, lube (careful Lloydie) and re torque all bolts up. You can't simply hold a match against your disc (with the wheel free of the ground) with some blutac and spin the wheel. it will show if there warped.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I don't have my SV anymore and I can honestly say I don't miss having to ignore things wrong the bike!! Or the stress of it breaking every week!!

Re: What are you currently ignoring on your bike?
My old one used more than that .
Pulled well ran well just used oil like a two stroke .
As long as you know it uses it and you keep it topped up it's fine
