Re: Operation chinese
The red doesnt match the original tank. Paint not awful of the odd run at the edges. Fit isn't too bad although having to open up the headlight hole a little.
Re: Operation chinese
if you can find a set in orange, let me know, seems to be impossible to get!

Re: Operation chinese
One issue.. where the headlamp has four screws which should screw into 4 captive nuts cast into the headlamp cowl, the lower 2 were cast vertically instead of horizontally. So useless.
Whilst fairing is on and tight the 2 plastic alignment clips don't locate tightly. Have had to shave a little off each side of the headlamp.
It was never going to be as good as originals but not bad for £300 odd quid.
Just the tail light left to do now.

Re: Operation chinese
Maybe but given the risk of the paint not matching the rest of your bike, I'd suggest get your original plastic welded.NZSpokes wrote:Can you buy just the tail piece? Mine is a bit cracked.
Re: Operation chinese
Probably be repainting the lot in one go anyway. I dont know much about plastic welding and if it is a permanent fix.Redthunder wrote:Maybe but given the risk of the paint not matching the rest of your bike, I'd suggest get your original plastic welded.NZSpokes wrote:Can you buy just the tail piece?
