Fork Height

Post by MikaelJ »

Hi,

Could anyone take measurement from the underside of the triple to the top or bottom of the front axle for me? Would be much appreciated.

Silly me I forgot to do this when I removed the forks and now not sure where exactly they should be. Before you ask they are not the original forks so can not go from the handy c-clips at the top.

Thanks

I make it 52mm to the bottom of the axle.

Seems a bit short from the steering stem to the axle.
Would that be maybe with a "0" on the end so 520mm ??

If so thanks for checking for me, much appreciated

Make sure that's a fully-extended measurement on both, as static sag can take up to 25mm off that.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
