they're asking silly money for most of the parts, as it's been said, sad to see a 50th being broken...

I didn't think the proflex and the Remus cans were too bad, and the rearsets aren't that strong considering all the bit's are there.

It works fine. Have you switched the power supply on for your computer, I shall re-phrase that. Does your computer have lots of flashing lights on it

your right about the exhaust being a fair price mate, but I think the proflex is expensive, when you factor in the cost of a service and possible new spring, you'd be better off with a new nitron or something similar.

Yep that shock is way over priced . I'd put a little more to it and but a new one .
What I got my proflex for was the right money when you factor in service and new spring

Interesting, looks like the renegade ones or something. Reminds me of the one I listed when Player was on the buy up. That balance pipe is big.... I wonder if there are sump clearance issues there. Too pricey IMO at that price I would want them polished up first.

Chris.
I've just been and collected some parts from him this morning.
Nice bloke as it happens but when I told him of the forums sadness over it's breaking, he said that when he buys a bike for breaking he wont tell the seller what he's going to do with it anymore as most owners are gutted that their pride and joy is being stripped.
The storm had been dropped and was an insurance write-off, too much bodywork damage. Though only a couple of damaged panels :o
The problems of having storms that dont fetch much. :(

Still I got the shock for £200 and the rear sets for £180 which seems reasonable to me. I wouldnt have paid more but thats the scottish blood in me :D
Again having mentioned the reaction to the high prices he said he puts them up high and then will accepts less, like the Remus cans he took £100 instead of the £150 asking price but if someone pays the listed price straight off he's obviously happy :shh:

Now to get the shock serviced.

Thanks for the update on that. I guess we can blame the insurance companies then as they so easily write things off. There are times when cost should not be a factor, but unfortunately most things in life don't go that way.
