You could call it Virmit, sort of like kermit but closer to vomit!

I'm sure it won't look like this for long based on what you have done with your bike to date, and for the misinformed on here, RED is the fastest colour!!,

You see, that's kind of misguided comment i'd expect from someone who spends their time upside down!!!

touchy, touchy!!

I think its a dark lilac really. I can understand the problem recognising blue bikes as they are normally making rapid progress as befits the colour.

best name so far is Kenmore,s effort for me .. or virtmet!

Haha just had a damn good laugh reading through all these replies/suggestions for a name, cheers

i'd keep it simple mate, strip of as much as possible, put a daytime mot on it and make it a trackbike.
get hold of some cheap fairings or buy some race fairings, ditch all the lights and indi's, put a cheap set of cans with baffles in them on. sticky tyres and away you go.
then you can improve things as you go, like rearsets, chain and sprocket, i'd get the forks rodgered. before you know it you'll have a tranny, tyre warmers, slicks and a ferking big grin on your face....
 all sounds good but I'll pass on the Tranny 8O

I've got a set of black race fairings with white numberboards (would you believe it!) and spare wheels with scrubs on. I'd like to have a upright 'ooligan bike for shite weather entertainment and then in summer I'll chuck the clipons and front race fairing on for trackdays.

And you are right, the Angle of the pipes isn't working.

Looking forward to photos of your mum helping with the rebuild. Just a bit of oil on her nose like a 90's Pirelli calendar :)
Sorry me maa wasn't allowed out of the oap nursing home today for pics

R.e cans, I think I'll look out for some low level link pipes

Had a little tinker today, nothing too exuberant.

I'd like to pull the cam covers and check valve clearances & check all the consumables this week.

Straight bar conversion & seat unit have been fiddled with
