That's half the problem. I wonder if crimes like this would drop if we had corporal punishments like chopping off fingers or hands for thieving. Or just give them a good old public flogging. I find it strange how this country had some of the most evil tortures and punishments in the world, yet these days we most likely have the most lenient.
