1997 VTR £1500 NOW GONE

Post by Moocher »

New tyres, White powder coated wheels with new bearings, New roller head race, Renewed suspension bearings, Manual CCT's, Beowulf ovals
11500 miles, Almost a year on the MOT and taxed until end Jan 2015. Dark tint flip screen recently fitted. Meta Alarm.
Reason for sale = I am too fat and too old for this bike.

You've done a good job on tidying up your VTR - Any more pics?
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Just for you Wicky I'll take more shots and post em up.
Maybe a little delay as I've got a touch of sciatica (it's a pain in the backside).

Oh! yes I really do love it but it'll just collect dust in the garage and it deserves to be ridden. Things I omitted from above :-
Braided hoses , new Regulator Rectifier, Carbon Hugger, and I have refitted the oil filter cover undertray thingy ( well you can't call it a belly pan can you). Also it is DATATAG'd.

And for those that upshots

Shows one of the grease nipples I fitted to the suspension when I renewed the bearings.

Shows the rubber front fork gaiters and the dirt that I didn't clean off from yesterday (oops!)

I have the pillion rests which I took off.
