After numerous phone calls trying to get in touch with the Indian without any luck, I finally ended up phoning the campsite to find out if the Indian had changed premises/nbr etc. it turns out it has closed down :(
So I have been in touch with the Crown pub, which is located on the main drag as you walk into the villag, I have put a link below with more details and a menu, once again I will ring them to give them prior notice of our intention for Saturday and confirm the exact nbrs on the Friday before

We be great of you do come, we need another grumpy bigger, even if you don't come out for the Saturday run, it would be a good ride down and couple of evenings chatting about going 200 miles an hour on a storm, with a few laughs thrown in.

Shame that we can't have our compulsory curry on Friday though.

Sorry guys a bit more bad news, the Crown is booked up on Saturday so we'll just have to get what ever from where ever, not a problem, as those that have been before know full well there's plenty of places to go for food and drinks

I'm planning a similar route, but I'm going down on Friday. But might catch up with you, if you're enjoying the scenery though

bazza696 wrote:Just a quick one, who is likely to meet up with us SE boys at Aust like last year?
some bunch of northern fiddler like last yr

wont be me as I don't think I will get there till after 7pm.......... hold on, Virt will be with me so it might be 8pm
Likely be me, my bro, Ady, Flatty and Stuart (grumpyfrog) - not sure if anyone else will be there on the Thursday / early Friday morning or not.
So, Are you Boys meeting Thursday or Friday? I've got those two days off and if you need someone to take you over the Bridge Thursday and show you some of the "Better roads" for that half of the journey I'd be more than happy. I can't do the weekend though so I'll have to be back Friday night or the Mrs will go Ballistic......again :shh:

We're down there on Thursday evening, will be out on the roads on Friday going south to meet Bazza et al just the other side of the Severn.

If you can come down on Thursday night or early Friday morning that would be good.

On a separate note - I don't think my brother is coming to this now. I will post this in a separate thread as it'll no doubt get lost in all the spam that's getting posted in here. But I was going to come down in the car with the bike on the trailer. The trailer takes 2.

Since there's now only me, I have space for a bike on the trailer and / or space in the car if anyone would like to come?

Bah!
I've just been reminded I'm out for dinner Friday night so my cunning plan isn't going to work. I was hoping to lead the southern lot up through some of the best roads I know and not use the most common way. There's no way I can do that and get back in time for dinner.
Have fun guys. Don't do any thing/one/animal/vegetable or mineral I wouldn't do :D
