Beats the hell out of the old 250 I used to have when I was a poor student, but that was just after Noah scrapped the ark :D :D :D

The guy who engineered MZ engines built for them two-strokes that at ancient times ( of course post-war II, I think it was mid-50s):) did beat hell out of many and sometimes all other bikes in races, they raced in TT too. Name was Walter Kaaden. He was a genius at designing two-strockes engines, all those intake valves, expansion chambers etc. gadgetry used on race two-strokes was invented by him. But MZ "consumer" bikes were just regular simple 2 stroke workhorses.
MZ did not exist pre- or during war, it is in 1945 the created that make using all factory, machines and people from DKW.

I always feel I as born at wrong time.... it is sooooo booooring nowadays....

No no, I was not referring to your joke, sorry :)

Only reason for my post is that I was just kinda nostalgic of times I never seen :) I mean - look how many great steps in motorcycling been done back then, how much less commercial was all that, and there was still "names" in this business - engineers were known, racers were hard as nails....

In Soviet Union we have not seen any of this :( we had 1 great motocross racer and loads of ice bike racers, but all that epoque of racing went past my country :(
