i've used different types of spray, but the best by far is frosts/eastwood rad paint, very easy to use and a great finish, plus one can will do a lot, the downside is it ain't cheap....gloss and satin finish...

Yep, Eastwood radiator paint is what I have used as well

It's specifically designed for radiators

Anyone got any advice on drying times between coats and number of coats? Got a can of the Eastwood rad paint but there's nothing to advise on the can or the Frost website. I've got two radiators, grills and the oil cooler to do.

Sure it was on the can when I did mine, I'll check & get back to you...things to do & wheels to change might be some time.

Nope nothing on the can re drying time just the advice to use two fine coats & allow to dry between.

If IIRC it was quite warm when I did mine so I didn't have a coat on.

So sprayed the rad's & just let them dry for a couple of hours & gave it a second coat.

Thanks for that. Think I'll test on the oil cooler and see what it comes out like. Less visible is I stuff it up.
