Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
last week I decided to paint my kappa top box, it was looking tatty so I spent a little time rubbing it down, removing the red rear lenses, then plastic primed it. then more rubbing down, then lots of coats of halfrauds gloss black, followed by halfrauds clear lacquer, the rubbed that down and cut it back with g3 paste, then several coats of polish. for the final touch a decal which sums me up perfectly.....
here are the before and after photo's....

And have now got a socket wrench handle capable of dealing with the rear axle nut. But could still do with a paddock stand / one of them Abba things

Hi Ken, I fitted one to the Legends SP as a bit of an experiment. Problem I found was that in direct sunlight it was all but impossible to see the screen unless you buried it deep behind the smoked fairing screen, then you couldn`t see the clocks. Also, maybe not such a problem for you in sunnier climes, but is the screen waterproof?kenmoore wrote:Lately I have been running with a fast crowd on a particular road .
As I have bar end mirrors that are all but useless I have sourced a rear view camera and ordered a 3.5" screen.
I am going to fit this so I can see what is going on or coming up from behind.
Another tweak to the Storm to keep me in front and sh1t my mates.
I am making it so I can fit it to the other bikes as well!
If it don't work who cares.
Total cost to date with cameras and interchangeable screen is $125 Oz.
Possible fine save?
Who knows but I'm gunna give it a go.
Thought about a revu helmet but already got 5 helmets so that justifies the experiment I think.![]()

Anyone ever done it before?
As you say, for the price , have a play and see if it works out for you.

mentally loud system....
and I think the arrows decals suit your bike as well....
today I dyno'd my yellow bike.......105bhp/93nm
also finished off repainting a later model top yoke.
and I bought some 2x4, no not to wallop carl around the head with, well not until he's finished working anyway.....

Nothing to the VTR apart from a 5 mile ride to go see family...
However I've been told I'm quite likely going to get given a project bike soon... and that can only mean one thing... track bike

Very nice Al
It never ceases to amaze me how parts move from one person to another on this forum.

pushed it further into the garage to make room for decorating stuff, a new boiler and a new bathroom suite. Cant fit that yet as waiting for a plasterer, bloody moving house aint stressful its just the lack of riding time!!!!
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
