carbon fibre bits

Post by monkeymatt »

Just putting the thought out there .
As I've been laying up carbon fibre bits for my bike .its quite easy to do (with the help of sons who are in the industry)
I didn't keep any molds of parts I layed up so I'm on the look out for gen covers etc that I can borrow and return in order to re make the molds .I would remove mine again but don't really fancy pulling the bike apart again for the 3rd time

Agentpineapple I could pretty much guess you have some as you have everything else and more

hi matt
i'd lend you my frame covers to copy, but I used so much silicone adhesive to attach them, i'd be worried i'd break them, if I tried to remove them..... :(
I have a spare single seat cowl you can borrow if you want to try and make one out of c/f....
a little while back I was talking to a guy about getting a c/f fuel tank skin made up, giving the tank the c/f look and adding protection at the same time. having said the you have the lovely rothmans paint scheme.....doh!!!
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Haha very true . I still play with trying make something better imo not to everyone's taste but hey ho .
Carbon skin on a tank would look the nuts.
I'm trying to find some frame protectors but no luck as yet

last year a fella was producing them, but from what I heard, they weren't a good fit and needed a bit of trimming...
I have a spare frame lying around, I doubt postage will be cheap, but you could use it to make moulds for different c/f parts.
yours with logbook for the price of postage buddy....
