Yesterday...Rode it quite briskly up to Snetterton to catch Popkats last race of the year...He may not be riding that bike again next year...

He may be doing a few rounds only next year on a XJ 600, due to the costs of doing the whole season...

Got fecking soaked on the way back so I will be cleaning the bike later...

Yep I have no intention of risking the green stuff on track as it cost a lot to get done and a lot every year to insure :-( so till piggy is done pigmit will do for track days

Gave the old girl a bit of a wash as she's been stood up in a barn for most of the last 5 months on a farm getting covered in dust and filth and couldn't bear to see her in such a state.
Bit gutted really, only got her home a week or so back and not really had much time to ride her this summer :(

Image

Tucked up in the garage now nice and safe from all the cold and wetness going on outside, biding her time waiting for the morning chorus of the birds marking the arrival of spring, the days to draw out and the sun to beam down once again to bless us all with the joy of nice sticky dry tarmac :Worship1:

Going to give her a good once over soon. Got some manual tensioners to bung in and also some nice new sparky plugs and will give the valve clearances and carb balancing a check over too. Definitely isn't running as sweet as can be - nothing a bit of a tweak won't sort though

Also going to order some sticky black circles too at some point... Pilot road 4's or pilot powers though?
