Grind the end that is not snapped to separate it and then bash the sh1t out of the bolt with a drift to get it out!

What have you got to lose.

A bit rugged I know but worth a try!

Cheers for the suggestions chaps, I will cut the remaining half of the bolt down the other side of the linkage meaning the two bits of bolt will come out easily and then I can go about removing the seized bit of bolt in the linkage itself. Then finally replacing bearings and seals.

But in the mean time, SuperLloyd has sent me his spare linkages and spacer tubes, which are in great nick. Thankyou sir, I owe you a  and a peck on the cheek

I was watching the documentary "Road" (Dunlop family study) the other night and it kinda struck a chord with me when I saw the footage of Robert Dunlop's rear wheel lock up, amazing how quickly things can go wrong, ok my shock collapsed in a car park but not 5 mins before that I was travelling at some pace over bumps etc.

Marty you doofus you was satnding there when we met up with Jamie & me & him were discussing it...Jamie clearly said that Lloydie was sending him one & I said 'OK I wont bother stripping my one down then.' IIRC you made a comment along the lines of 'If you had said something yesterday I would have brought my one up for you...'

I think all that sun has fried your memory chip...
