That was a good idea Lloyd fitting them there.

I rode my bike in the pissing down rain this morning while it was still dark. Wet leaves are a bit of a nightmare as they seem to always fall right on the line I want to take. Not good on the bends. Checked my chain tension and it's still good so no adjustment necessary 8O It juts goes to show how crap my last chain I bought was, but it was only £80. I also noticed my chain feels sticky so the Scottoiler must be working well considering all the water I have been through.

I've had some of those knocking about for a year or so, maybe I should fit them one day.....
I wonder what might fill that square hole in the middle?

Maybe something like this, but fitted with a laser?

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

a bit of a nightmare today, this morning I spotted that my front mudguard was wonky, but on further investigation I realised it was the front wheel.
after some head scratching I realised the only thing I changed on the front end when I refitted the rogered forks was the bottom yoke.
and it was buggered, I was well pissed off as I had just fitted a new taper bearing as well..... :x
so I stripped the front end back down, took off the offending lower yoke, I luckily managed to remove the head bearing, the dust seal had to bite the dust, but I had a new honda dust seal so that wasn't a problem.
so the lower yoke is in the freezer tonight.
I also decided that whilst the front end was off, it would be the right time to respray the forks, they're both rubbed down and etch primed ready for spraying tomorrow.
as soon as the paint dry's and I get the bearing on it'll all be going back together, and this time I hope it'll be straight....
the worst bit was i'd ridden the bike at the weekend and although it pulled slightly to one side, I didn't really think it was too bad.... :(
i'll never be a muck an nick.....

Cleaned her up, got the belly fairing bit back on and put the silencer back on after putting some sealant in the join. Went for a blat to Halfrauds to get some engine oil to top it up after the leak. They're still selling tax disc holders, not even on special offer! Next job indicators, front right not flashing & others too fast. That might explain the lady in a Mercedes that didn't give way at a mini roundabout recently (fortunately I was being ultra cautious and had given way).

Mike, with your indi's the one not working will make the others flash faster. Sort that out & they should all flash at the same rate.

If they don't then check the relay.

My yokes or forks are bent as well, have been since I put them on I think. I'm getting a new bottom yoke delivered next week, but don't have the tools with me to fit it before Mallory unfortunately. Just have to ignore it.

Thanks Mac, they flashed too fast even when they were all working. I've tried fiddling with the wires but that doesn't make it come on.
