I've fancied a TRX, but not as a road bike, maybe a trackday project

Got to admit I love the TReX. Coming over the Dartford crossing the bike was dead stable and filtering was a doddle. Not as powerful as the Storm but goes really well, fits my 5' 8" frame really well, needs nothing but a good clean, think this one's a keeper.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

The Yam is a very nice looking bike, which goes well, sounds great with free flowing exhausts and is certainly a bit different. Power, certainly as perceived is nothing like a VTR, which has a special engine. I have just bought a 600 Transalp to ride to the Stellas Alpina Rally in Italy next July. I was expecting something like a mini VTR. but it starts flat and carries on that way until the red line 2000 rpm lower that the VTR this is with an aftermarket ex too. A reminder yet again how nice the VTR engine is.
Unrelated , but as I am posting, are the later clip on's much more comfortable? It's the angle of drop that I find a bit much, It's a sports bike with plenty of room so additional height is not really what I think I need.
Thank you
Nigel

Yep there good, a FZ 750 front end and swinging arm are popular mods. The cams are a bit awkward to take out as the thermo housing and rad etc has to be moved. They sound great with open cans. Ive seen one with a SSSA on and pipes that exit under the rear seat ( In Downton) odd but still looked cool. Mine had a slight leak from the Oil Tank which is above the engine and was a pain to do. Frame still looks cool too.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

Yeah BTT, it looks cool in blue, just needed a good clean, cans are Gibson and it sounds ace. Has K-Tech fork springs and the shock has been rebuilt, feels great. Not the eye-watering performance of the big Honda but plenty for me, at 50+ mpg I can even commute on it.
