must of been done before 180/190 tyres

i need new tyres and when i brought the bike it had a 190 on
when it was worn up i went to a 180 twice
but my son wants me to put a 190 on for the looks
what does anyone else think

As you've ridden the bike with both options I would go with the one that felt the best. Stuff the fashionable option, it's how it goes that's important. Enjoy the bike mate.

i love my bike and have had it for 4 years
but being old i can`t remember how it felt with the 190 on
and i am no tyre wearer more like scarer :lol: :lol:
i do tend to use the engine as a brake and like locking the rear up on the engine :thumbdown: :thumbsdown:
i was going to try maxxis diamonds this time

I'm running a 190 M7RR at the moment.. the initial turn in is much greater, however on private roads when you reach 120-130mph the back end can get a little bit squirrely if there is even the slightest bit of wind...

Do love it with a 190 though :thumbup:

I haven't tried it, but seem to remember reading a couple of threads on here where people say they tried it and gave up as it wasn't right.

Go for a Michelin they measure about 186 for a 180 anyway, as well as being great tyres.
