Previously i have used an ordinary small camera with vid and then adapted it to fit on my helmet or bike or ski pole, but it wobbles like a bugger.
You help is most appreciated.Paul.

Your ears must have been burning today as i was talking about our trip out to Colden Common and i was saying i was impressed with your wheelies. You need another bike Matey. Good luck with the new job too.geodude wrote:Paul. Have you got any of the footage from Wales uploaded mate?Jamoi wrote:I used to be a fan of the GoPro series, but recently got a Drift Ghost HD and for the purpose of motorcycling I find it a much better cam.
I like to mount it on my helmet, so I can capture everything I look at, the drift is quite sleek so you don't feel it much when the speeds pick up a bit. Whereas the GoPro felt like a sail.
If you're mounting it to a bike, then I'd say go for whatever your requirements are in terms of image quality.
30fps @ 1080p is the common standard, although 60fps @ 1080p is available but rendering times are pushed really high.
My last few vids were with the Drift.
My mate wanted a particular R1 and was ready to go buy it, so I got a test ride and posted this to wind him up

Re: Drift or Go Pro
What's the difference between NTSC and PAL ?
Re: Drift or Go Pro
Screen resolution and frame rate is different. We use PAL in this country which is 25fps or anything that multiplies into that like 50fps.
