Not really helpful, as the exhaust system joins the two pipes together and then splits them again- so you can't say that the gases flowing form the LH side can is form the rear cylinder- it's a mixture of the two.

What you need to do (CAREFULLY) is to start it from cold then touch the exhaust downpipes to see if one is still cold.
But don't burn your fingers....... :whatever
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Thanks tony I can tell you both are hot lol. Spoke to one mechanic today he said to drain float chambers, I checked what Carl said and everything looked right. I then drained float chambers and one was considerably dirtier and had more crap in than the other hopefully this solves the problem when I put it back together tomorrow appreciate all the replies thanks

Or put some oil on the down pipes and see if they start smoking at the same time :-)
