I do hope so. This lot has cost me not far shy of a fortune. The fairings had free next day postage though and given the size of the boxes there's 30-50quid on postage :biggrin

Over all rather happy with the fairings, nothing a good days work couldn't sort to get properly ready. I can add this to the side fairings, nose cone and belly pan already at llodys. So that's a few nose cones and belly pans. Who wants a competition? main reason for getting it was the tank. Don't want to risk the road one because I'm going to crash at some point so rather keep that one safe and good

Doh! That's my plan scuppered :(

When I bring it down for doing the suspension we can swap the body over and do the work before hand. That way as little as possible is in your garage and any one point. Shame I'm looking after my brothers this weekend or I could have come down to make a start on the body work

Managed to get my other bits today :biggrin

Lloyd was nice enough to pick them up on his way home from work. He got a big box full of bubble wrap and I got.......

And yes the eagle eyed viewer will notice that that is a HRC reservoir which I have been told will fit but have to wait and see. Been told they can help absorb water so may not use it for long but worth a try.

Oh it's coming along nicely. Had a word with a bloke at work who can spray and he said he can do the fairings for me at a bargin price. I'll do the prep work, he will prime, paint and lacquer. I supply the materials. So worth a try.

Wish I had my own work space so I could do it every night when back from work :( garage project took a hold till next year now :( ah well get it sorted eventually

Well today has seen some changes and got me all excited :D

Got to Lloyds and started to get the shock stripped which ment removing the seat unit and pulling the undertray out the way. Then the exhaust system was removed, the linkages cleaned and greased. That was rather annoying as some of the needles kept falling out :grrr:

Then on went the new rear sets which we found a small problem with but when I next go down 5 mins with the dermal will sort it  then the clip ons were fitted and then the seat unit and OMG I think I made a mess in my pants! Then we got the nose cone in position :O

The bars are soooooo low. There lower than the seat :s it's just daft. Going to be great fun. And to top it all off ........

When Lloyd dropped me back at mine I showed him the body work for it and he noticed that I have a FULL set of carbon body work which has a gel coating on it :biggrin I thought it was just the way it was moulded  not bad for 300quid. 2 carbon nose cones, carbon seat unit and belly pan and a full set of fibre glass ones  oh and a tank and other bits :D

And here's some pics from today ImageImageImageImageImage

Oh a I brought myself a few new tools :-) .
After watching ck work away on his bike and I made the tea it's really inspired me to get cracking on with the track engine :-)
Going to finish stripping it down tomorrow and get the bits ordered Monday morning and hope to have it finished by end of January and ready to fit into kermit for running in :-)
