I whacked the volume right up and almost jumped when they started it up Fantastic, reminded me of guy fawkes.

don't quite get the cranking though ? he appears to stop cranking , then it fires up?
That's to do with the long stroke I imagine.

I have started a fair few different engines over the years using a starting handle (including a Landrover as Furrybiker has), even so I would not want to try starting this one
