Bexley Newbie
Bexley Newbie
Evening, had bike for 3 months now, and love it, feels like riding a real bike again after 4 years on a 660XT, had CCT's and service done by Sir Tony.Mon of Kemsing highly recommended. New to the whole forum thing, so need to dip toe in to post and not just watch! Might have to see if any rides out locally, as I'll confess I'm also a cycling Richard at the weekends, so apologies
Re: Bexley Newbie

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Bexley Newbie
Tony, don't worry about your eyes, just trying to up my posts so could PM you about ongoing Rectifier problems
Re: Bexley Newbie
Aha.
Just post it up on here as a new thread in workshop.
But reg rec problems are covered on here regularly, and there's not much to add except that a voltmeter gives you early enough warning to know when volts go high or low.
If high you will mostly need a new battery as well.
If battery is suspect, volts can seem ok at 12-ish but drop to less that eight or nine while cranking- then it's new battery time.
