Re: Petrol Tank woes!
Jeez... if it is a 19l and brand new it could be sold on for more.
As said, get some pics of the underside up and we can soon tell you.

Hi just thought I would add an update. I have finally got my hands on my bike after the new tank and re commissioning. The tank was probably American. And required a different fuel tap to fit. I have ridden it home and she was really sweet and can only be described as new to ride. Powerful, tight fautless:-) I have now cleaned her and what an amazing bike that could be believed to be a few weeks old. Having had show vehicles for years believe this is as good as it gets! Whether she is worth the £2400 SHE now owes me is debatable. But I don't think you would find one any better at any price and now happy. to own her. I have sorn it to spring and will catch up with some of you then. Anyone visiting Pembrokeshire pop in for a cuppa and chat.

Sounds like a uk 19l tank you have now
Re: Petrol Tank woes!
Possibly as the garage billed me for a gallon of petrol and I then rode to the fuel station 5 miles up the road. The fuel light came on just before pulling into station and I put in 15litres of fuel.

Re: Petrol Tank woes!
You may want to take a can of fuel with you and do a full tank run and note down how many miles to the light and how many more miles you get till it runs out come spring as they mightned not set the censor hight right .
And we all get different miles to a tank as we all ride our own ride .
