dymag or galespeed wheels

Post by monkeymatt »

Decisions decisions .
I've ordered some Dymag Ultra Pro UP7X Aluminium 7 Spoke Wheels with an 8 week wait .....for the storm but a mate has just pointed out the galespeed 10 spoke wheels ...has anyone got any opinions as I'm rather stuck on this one .
I'm swaying galespeed but the 7 spoke dymag are nice

How did I know you would say that marty ....

Can have galespeed for the same cost as the dymag due to the Japanese exchange rate.
Wait for it ....... £1690
I think I may have to change the order .....

Maybe the wheels will arrive at the same time as your exhaust system ap.

I did start off with those aswel but after a few calls narrowed it down to the 2 .
Mainly due to the storm not being a popular bike ...wtf... And cost for having the tooling re set up

I'd go with the dymags all the way, a mate has galspeed wheels on his Busa, maybe it's the bike but they don't look that special. Those Dymags are the lightest they''ve made and if you buy them it keeps the money in our economy

Galespeed have a great reputation. I was looking at the 10-spoke before a set of used carbon Dymag CA5's showed up for a decent price on eBay...... Seems you can't go wrong with either option.....

Dymag 7 spokes would be my choice, I always think odd numbers of spokes look better than even numbers, only my opinion I know :)

 yes it is .. I could buy another one for the cost of the wheels.
but I wanted to create a "special" storm as it will probably be my last bike . So I need to make it nice .
