sorry to start again
i was reading some threads on here and think i am going to go for the michelin pilot after having the m7`s and not lasting long at all
my question is, are these a good price?
or do i go for the 3`s
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Ty ... 2597c9e5d0
or would you pay the extra and go for these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Michelin-Pilo ... 51b83c1498
and if a mate fits your tyres for you is a £20 drink taking the pixx out of him?

Re: MICHELIN-PILOT
No comment on tyres or prices or anything..
But the old mechanic we used when I lived at my last place cost £20 to fit tyres, so I'd say a £20 drink is reasonable

Re: MICHELIN-PILOT
2s every time for me on the road or wet track .
I've had my 2s on now for 3k and done 2 trackdays and they do look like new still .
For a road tyre I love them .
They give the feel of grip you get from the powers but last longer .

I've abused some pr3's & pr4's, the pr4's are streets ahead of the 3's, in terms of handling and longevity.
Pr2's are well loved around here too

Re: MICHELIN-PILOT
i'm getting pr2's next, I currently have pilot power 2ct's, a great tyre but you barely get 4k out of them.
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: MICHELIN-PILOT
The pilot road 2's look a good price, the prices went up not too long ago so my guess is these are pre price increase, if 2's are ok for you grab them.
The pilot road 3's are on the money right price, similar to what most places should be.
The 3's are a better tyre than the 2's but the 2's are still a very good tyre.
