Streetfighter build info required please
Ok so I bought a scruffy but cheap storm initially as a stop gap while I complete a cafe racer project on a 79 gs850. Didn't realise I'll like the storm so much lol. Have played a bit with streetfighters in the past and love the riding position. Just a few questions to start really so I can start collection the various bits. Is it true that ntv 650 yokes defiantly fit. I know cb400 super 4 do but it'll help widen the search. Also will I need longer cables if so is there I direct replacement. And lastly is there a front mounted radiator that fits easily. Cheers for any help.

This might help with the radiator, a SV1000 rad has been used. Cheap on EBay too

That's cool. I have a few braided hoses so hopefully one will fit.

Don't know but you can get one that runs of the front wheel like a push bike one .dumpertruck wrote:Is there a small speedo that will run off the storms pick up??
Re: Streetfighter build info required please
As Lloydie said, there are lots of digi speedos available on ebay, they use a sensor to read the front wheel speed (also great for changing your gearing as will not affect speedo)dumpertruck wrote:Is there a small speedo that will run off the storms pick up??
Here's the one I used, was very impressed for 30 quid!

Nice one mate. Might give it a try. Is it relatively accurate.
Re: Streetfighter build info required please
It was fairly accurate mate, but when changing speed quickly it was a bit slow to keep up.
But for the money I'd definitely use one again.
