My Belly Pan fell off!

Post by bald_pig »

Left work with it, arrived home without it :(

If anyone spots it between Bromley and Thurrock let me know

How the wombles did you not notice that coming off while riding. If it was the bikini one I would understand, but not that great big thing :confused Are you sure it was on the bike to begin with. I'm thinking it may have been nicked.

There is know way you can't of noticed that coming loose  You should be an A&E

There's no way all the screws vibrated out the same time. One or two max, then it would of touched the floor or rear tyre :?

Any sign of, erm? Bits or evidence of breakage?

Had you had it off recently & forgotten to tighten the screws

All the screws missing too = Nicked

This is going to sound bad, but it was definately on the bike when I left work as a) secure car park, and b) scraped it on the speedbump coming out of the carpark

As for the how, there was already damage to some of the mounting holes, was planning to reinforce them just in case next week

I'm just gonna keep an eye out for it on my way to work tomorrow!

''b) scraped it on the speedbump coming out of the carpark  ''

Well there you go then, that probably snapped a bracket or bolt or something...

''I'm just gonna keep an eye out for it on my way to work tomorrow!'' You'll be luck to find that in one piece if at all...but let us know if you do...

He may get lucky. I had to go out and find marty's number plate once that had fallen off on a main road. I found it in one piece. I couldn't believe it hadn't been run over.

you dopey bugger  , yes we found the numberplate, but it had been run over many many times, it was only the laminate holding it together, didn't stop us going down to see yeti tho, the plate got worse as the day wore on, in the end I rode without a plate from surrey back to central London, a very odd feeling indeed....

So turns out there are loads of tyres and black bin bags dumped by the side of the road on my route home, so I don't think I saw it
