Racetech valve fitting

Post by Herschel »

I've got a 97 storm with racetech springs fitted but I have also got the racetech gold valves and rebound kit still in the boxes.
I stripped the forks down but assume I need to get the damping rods apart to fit these valve things.
It looks like a sealed unit to me and I can see no way of getting in.
Anyone done this and can let me know how??
Alternatively where could I send this lot off to to get it done.
I know I could send the forks off to revolution or Maxton and get them set up but it seems a shame to waste these bits.
