Its my fault

Post by Steve97 »

its my fault
that i bought a seat cowl from ebay for 13 quid plus a 10 spot for postage, i didn't expect much for that price
its my fault
that i didn't contact the seller for more pictures , especially one of the inside where the lugs were.
its my fault
that the painted surface has more fibre glass resin than paint, but this docent show up in the only, photo
its my fault
that i didn't want to send it back and pay the postage, and then what, another fair deal ?

you know what, its not the f…ing cowl i really couldn't give a monkeys about it, its the way its marketed

one pic

and the description " honda firestorm vtr seat cowl" instead of a list of its faults

and the reason its all my fault…..its the way they make you feel when you email to say hang on mate i thought it was cheap but not that bad !!

this is such a wonderful service, i thought i would share it with you all

its the way its marketed
I tottaly understand where you are coming from there. And they know one can't be bothered posting back considering it's a low priced item and you would end up paying the postage. Conning git that is. Being clever with their images and wording.

It's all their fault.

always be weary of a one photo advert, if in doubt always ask for extra pictures and ask questions about the item, I've been had before, so I know what you mean mate.
it's the crappy side of ebay, buyer beware!

Swing arm "used will some marks and scratches" - completely rusted up bottom linkage - so bad i had to grind it out..... however it was cheap but it still was not described correctly

Mrs wanted a particular model of sewing machine, saw one, great pictures good feedback go for it.
The seller was used to sending trainers through the post so didn't realize that a sewing machine could not
just be stuck in a huge box with no packing! Broken bits everywhere, she was really amazed when I complained.... 8O

I nearly pressed the buy it now button on that seat cowl but was beaten to it by you.
Not that I'd have worried too much about it being shite as I was going to repaint it red for extra power lol.

Painting it would be easy, however, making new fixing lugs and gluing them on is a challenge , am getting quite good at plastic welding !!
