genmar bar risers
Anybody use these ? Seem a decent price but not sure on build quality etc
Re: genmar bar risers
Fitted them on other bikes, quality is good but then they are usually just aluminium blocks or tubes.

Thanks, did you notice much of a difference ? Was looking at a full bar conversion but don't really want to loose the standard look too muchpopkat wrote:Fitted them on other bikes, quality is good but then they are usually just aluminium blocks or tubes.

I had some ...bit pants IMO.
Fit F2 bars if you can find a set the difference is quite noticeable.
Some VFR 750 bars fit as well.
Failing that go the flat bar route, bit more work & expense involved however.

Thanks for the replies lads looking more like a full conversion is on the way
Re: genmar bar risers
I recommend the flat bar route, transformed the bike in my opinion. Makes riding longer and slower very easy, and also works great when throwing the bike into twisty A roads at full throttle.vtwin goody wrote:Thanks for the replies lads looking more like a full conversion is on the way
I would say that on our favorite welsh roads it is now faster than with clip ons

+1 on that. Main difference for faster riding is that your head is up more so you can see further along the road if that makes sense. Get a flip up screen too, as this then diverts the airflow over your helmet ( careful!!!). Its a great mod.AMCQ46 wrote:I recommend the flat bar route, transformed the bike in my opinion.
