Not sure about no electrics but i had a vectra that the remote key used to go out of sink on!!! The keys are on a rolling code so to re-align them you have to get in the car, shut the door, turn on the ignition and while the ignition lights are on press one of the buttons on the key. This will then lock and then un lock the doors. The key is now re-aligned. Don't know if this helps mate.
I Agree with Sirch. Sounds to me like you've got a flat battery. In the past i've found that if there is an imboliser that the light's still come on but and the car will turn over but not start...or that it won't turn over. All lecky's should still work.
Otherwise could be that your earth terminal has gone. Had that happen to me as well. Could try clipping one end of a jump lead to the negative terminal and the other end to a point on the chasie. If it starts now then you know that you need to put on a new earth strap.
Bit weird that you can't open the door...is it a newish corsa?
Hope this helps.
Cheers

I had a VP Calais with an immobiliser. I found that it effected the ignition. Husband was a mechanic (well, still a mechanic, just not a husband
) & he couldn't figure it out. Ended up ditching the immobiliser & central locking & just going back to the old fashioned key.

If you ate yourself would you become twice as big or simply disappear?

Very much so, Sirch, although mine was silver top & bottom (believe all the Calais have silver on the bottom). Got it at a gov't auction after losing the lot before. Ex-husband is a Ford fella & we were bidding on some Ford or other. Missed that & he pointed to the Calais & said "how about that one?" Less than five minutes & more than $25,000 later, it was ours...

I was just wondering what a VP Calais was really, as I'd not heard of them before, so as I came across a pic or two, I thought I'd paste them upVTRgirl wrote:Very much so, Sirch, although mine was silver top & bottom (believe all the Calais have silver on the bottom). What does the VP stand for
