I think that's a brilliant bargain. was 500 the asking price or did you haggle?.

I think the stickers knock a little bit off the value

It was a guy at work who had it before, each year he said he would put it back on the road but never did.
At Christmas I said jokingly I will give you £200 for it, he said I was hoping for £500, I said I will have it then and he back tracked, then 3 weeks ago he said I could have it for £500 as his wife wanted it out the way.

Thanks Lloydie, but the hard part was just cleaning really, I would have serviced it and stuck cans on anyway

Hahahah.. I was tripping big time. I have two forums on my taptalk app.. Fz6 and vtr1000, I though I was reading the fz6 one until I started to read the members names. Lol

I just bought a 2005 fz6 with 33k miles in almost brand new conditions for $2800 USD. I got it for my sister. It will be her first bike. I like the Fz6, i had a 2007 and i like them just how i like my woman.. NAKED! They run nice but the turn into beasts after 8k RPM. The 1st thing i did was replace the stock exaust for some akrapovic ones ..

That's nice and tidy
I agree so easy in traffic and smooth and docile around 5,000 rpm, open her up and the rush from 8,000 to the redline 13,000 rpm is mad, makes a big difference with the race cans too
