I went out for a 40mile cycle last night in straight from work, it included 3000ft of climbing.......... now that was hot & sweaty

The V-Strom said there was an air temp of 37C on my ride yesterday, the screen is also so good I got no cooling air. I know what hot is

Went to change the rear pads thinking to myself "this will be a quick and easy job" - How wrong was I !!!?!?

A previous attempt by a previous owner had surely rounded off the rear caliper bolt!!

Tried to put the bike back together...... Swapped in the new carb isolators and then one of the band clamps decided it no longer liked me and snapped in half......

So now we sit and wait until the new ones arrive in the mail....... really sucks when the bike is your only transportation.....

Though as a consolation prize, my new Celestion G12M Creamback is showing up today so my Marshall will really start to sound good and I can take out a bit of frustration......
