This is turning into the song "There's a hole in my bucket, (dear liza, dear liza....")

I mean:

Where do I get case guards?, dear forum, dear forum...

From Carbonadi, or ebay, dear piston, dear piston.

And how do I fit them?, dear forum, dear forum....

"With Glue....." dear piston, dear piston....with glue.

I'm waiting for:

"With WHAT type of glue shall I fix them?
, dear forum...

And, I'll come down and let the air out of Macs tyres if he just replies with: "Strong"
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

HOOF GLUE? :wtf:

I'm not even gonna ask what you were searching for on t'internet, and then found that....

Wicky types in: "what to do with all the old hoofs I've collected over the years?"

"How can I recycle my cows to get the most out of them?"

"I have 6 dead giraffes in my garage - what can they be used for, other than propping up the rafters?"
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

Strong...Just let us know when you coming GBM, I'll make sure the kettels on & me compressor is fired up & ready...

I think the consensus around these here parts is to use Silicone, pref a heat resitant one. A few dabs only should do it just in case you someday need to remove them...

One of the best glues I have used is E6000. Its the glue that I repair my Arai helmets with & make RamAir foam filter inserts for crossers with too. Its fab :D

Btw, the best glues always have a Warning on them

Well ebay over here and ebay in the UK are totally different and most the only parts you can find for a VTR1000 are total junk and wont even fit most of the time. You just cant find decent stuff here, so i spend hours pointlessly searching online or, i figure i can just ask here. I dropped the bike in some gravel/snow.... And i got very lucky the right side case survived. I just want some extra protection so i dont have to write off a bike in case i drop it again..
