Hi guys, after a lot of soul searching,i have come to the conclusion that my baby has to go she is just not getting the use she deserves, and in my current financial situation i cant justify the cost of her just sitting there,
plus the fact of the pain im in after a ride
so here goes, most of you know her anyway, but heres the blurb :-BTW im after £1500
This old girl of mine is in lovely condition, stored under a heavy duty cover.
I love this bike, but she just doesn't get the use she deserves so the time has come to pass her on to someone who will get proper riding pleasure out of her.
I have done a few modifications to her as follows -
42 tooth rear sprocket, lower top speed but faster away from the lights!
VFR 800 fuel tank conversion, gives 22ltrs rather than the standard 16, she has a range of 120 miles to the fuel warning light with around 40 in reserve, obviously depending on how heavy you are with the throttle ;-).
Dash mounted clock/ 2amp usb charger
Honda SP2 Front brake master cylinder
Front forks have modified internals with standard springs running ATF instead of fork oil
Custom twin headlight conversion, done by me all inside the standard headlight casing so you can easily return it to standard single if you want.
Custom seat by Elsemade seats, very comfortable!
Remus GrandPrix Stainless silencers reduced by 150mm, sound fantastic with a hard edged bark under acceleration and a deep rumble on the overun.
Triumph side stand mod, a lot sturdier than the standard one.
Carbonardi engine covers.
She handles beautifully and goes like stink.
She is MOTd till 22/4/2016.
There are a few marks and scratches as you would expect.
Two good tyres with loads of tread left
New front pads and refurbed calipers
She does not have the bellypan currently fitted, but it will be included as well as a couple of boxes of assorted spares.
