Please update your post with more info.

Dragon where did you spring up from2. All items offered for sale must have a price and location and say if postage is extra. A post simply asking for offers or conducting a PM auction is not allowed. A price must be stated in the initial post. If you don't know a price then please do your research first before posting.

Although Tomsk hasn't asked for offers, I do realise there's nae prices! All important if someone wants to shift stuff!cybercarl wrote:All items offered for sale must have a price and location and say if postage is extra. I posted a reply this morning, about 2 hours after Tomsk put the ad in, and just after Hallie asked "any prices?". I initially asked for 1st dibs on the tank cover, but then deleted my post, 'cos I had to end it with "depending on the price".
As I didn't know what price range we're looking at, I might have enough to buy it, or, I may not have enough. I decided to not wait to see the price for the cover. Sorry Tomsk!

I'll probably kick myself if I come back and see the bag for a damn good price and then miss it, but hey ho - I ain't psychic! And as you say Carl, I'm not PMing to ask, 'cos other folk might do the same, and then we have an auction to the highest bidder.
Maybe it was just an honest oversight on not listing any prices Carl?
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

No I am not slipping. It grinds at me when I see members here with less than 50posts
If you look at the user profile registration date it was long before the new rules where introduced so they are unaffected by the 50 post limit. But it does mean that there will be some long term back seater's crawling out of the woodwork to sell the odd bits.
Maybe I should just simply delete the threads when I see the OP is under the 50 limit but I'm too soft.

Re: BITS FOR SALE
Excuse the spelling mistakes, as I'm on de Guinness and J.D.
I don't have any bad feelings. I've done it myself in the past. Got a bike, and got stuck in at the deep end. Joined a forum, got the advice, bought sh1t-loads of parts and as usual with me, it's all or nothing with bits. Before I knew it, a few weeks later, I had more spares to fill a shelf, and stupid add on accessories that I bought, but didn't really need, but were a must have.
Then, the sh1t hit the fan, and after a short time, like Tomsk, everything went belly up. I had to sell to raise money, and everyone on the forum assumed the worst, and that I just came for the advice, and a few weeks later, shift my bits - but it wasn't like that at all!
Un for-seen circumstances really suck. In my case, my dog was ill, and needed veterinary treatment. This saw me selling everything I had, and even not eating for 3 days at a time to help raised the money needed. I eventually sold all my stuff, had bugger all left, and my dog didn't make it in the end.
Although Tomsk has been registered for years, and only has 10 posts in that time, I don't hold it against him for not putting prices up. Yes, it's frustrating wanting something, but not knowing how much it is so I can budget for it, and not waste the guys time by saying "yes, I want it.....and then: "oh sorry, now I know the price, I can't afford it" is embarrassing for me. (yes, this non-sentimental swinging-brick dead-heart person does get embarrassed in a way!)
Putting prices on posts saves all that.
With that, I wish you all a good week end. I'm getting stuck into the Guinness and Jack Daniels!
And I'm raising a glass to those lucky sods at OP Devon!

(I'll probably log in tomorrow withy a clear head, re-read this, and think "what the hell was I on about?" But at this point in time, slightly listing at 40 degrees, it all makes sense.)

You crack me up Dave...BTW its just the Baglux tank cover no bag with it...The bags are one size fits all the covers are bike specific...TheGingerBeardMan wrote:Excuse the spelling mistakes, as I'm on de Guinness and J.D.
