Very scarry is'nt it!!!!!!!!!!!

Still if you think about it when you pass a camera you naturally back off on the throttle so in theory the noise would'nt be to bad and we would stand a chance of getting away with it (as I say in Theory!!)

or alternativley we can all just beat the crap out of them when they are put up

As a fellow Australian, I apologise for our idiocy in even contemplating such a ridiculously foolish product, letalone advertising the fact.

I shall personally hunt down those responsible & beat them soundly with my Microns.

Cant see how they could make it work realy , it seems too open to error , as a load of bikes go past or in different directions.
And if all else fails ill buy a fog horn and stand next to the camera and let it off every time a car goes past

Easy.
Variant 1 "people power". Buy 10 cheap tape players with batteries. Let say 20 Euro each. Record sound of your bike. Walk to camera from behind. Place tape player next to it, turn volume up and leave. Do it for 10 days in line. Then see what happens.
1000 people will do it - and it will be endo of camera life. There is no law against listening to sounds, is there? :)
Variant 2 "smart" Make simple transmitter that will interfere with amplifier in the system. Put it in your pocket. Drive past camera safely.
Variant 3 "sci-fi" (my favourite - still need to find it - works against all digital cameras): buy EMG "gun" generator developed in Russia some time ago. This device generates powerful impulse of electromagnetic charge, that easily damages any electronics at distance. Big version of it tested as "car stopper" - if car uses CDI unit it's ciscuits will be wasted with this EMG charge. I am not joking - this device does exist.
Variant 4 "tuning" - make small turbine wheel, cut off can end, fit that turbine.... etc. - resulting sound will be sound of the aircraft engine. Tested on old russian boxer. Did not sound like bike at all, but sound was sub-zero cool. Scaring people too :)
Variant 5 "cruel" - find really reach owner of Ducati who works in aquisitions and make him buy this company of b8stard who inventing it and get them busy with something else or simple ask him bankrupt it and sell by subsidiaries.
I can go for ages. If I see anybody who works for this company I promise I'll break his fase
I'd do the same to dutch guy who invented GATSO, but he probably lives under witness protection program too.

Yes, and BTW - MCN known for made-up stories and made-up "new models" - let's hope it's same this time

Not something to be overly worried about IMO

The noise limits for bikes, cars etc are a specified dB at a specified revs
So long as your bike passes that it doesn't matter howmuch noise it makes in the restof the rev range

SO going past a camera at 8000 revs is obviously gonna exceed the noise level -so what, its not illegal

File that report in the same place as the one about cameras in cats eyes

Ive seen bike exhausts with baffles that can be added for MOT purposes. Would not be that hard to make a baffle on a hinge with a wire to a thumb leaver. perfect for when pulling up next to plod or early morning starts.
