Short term insurance?

Post by Roly »

So Im looking at putting a cbr600 Ive just got on the road, issue is that I dont know if I'll like it enough to keep unless I try it out.
So a 12 month policy is £100, and if I dont like it after an hour or day, I cancel but the fee is £30 plus you lose part of your premium. I used to dayinsure cars quite often (years ago) but the cost for a bike is over 1/3rd of a years policy :?

Any ideas?

Have you tried these :?: :-

Although to be honest I expect most will be wanting to charge you an administration charge of £25/£30, still it might be worth checking out.

Do lets us know how you get on,

Chris.

Tried them in comparison with gocompare, just pennies different for 12 months. To get short term insurance it seems I have to ring the 0844 numbers (cant just now).
It states on website though "from £31.80" Im guessing thats for a peugeot speedflight with 20 years ncd and 15 min on an 0844 number :?

Its also the £50 admin charges these companies charge for any changes or cancellations :confused

Try Peter James insurance.
They haven't charged me for changing bikes.
