25k service
Its been a while since I had my bike serviced. She's running smooth enough and I do all the usual stuff but how hard is it to balance the carbs. Could I do it myself or am i more likely to round off bolt heads, scratch up the bike and generally wish Id got someone to do the job properly?
red is the fastest colour;)
It's so easy that i do mine more frequently then i need to hehehe.
Not a long job, whole thing done in under an hour easy, saying that had a quote from the local bike shop of 45quid for them to do it. So depends on how valueble your time is :-)
Front bolt can be a bit of a nightmare to reach but appart from that can't really complain, oo yeh watch out for the rear one did burn my fingures first time i did it. Until i found a post on here which suggested putting an inline connector further up the vacume pipe, did that and now it's really quick.
Good luck :-)
