Here you go:

For an SP1/2. i might think about a set if they were available for the storm, but maybe in a while, nearer the time the hoses are about to perish.

How much are they quoting you at the mo :?:

and while i think about the ad i posted from fleabay, are the SP1/2 hoses any different from the storm, as they have the 2 rads also.

well im afriad to say that the sp1-2 pipe work so completely different and they dont have a kit at mo but and its a big but they will make a kit .that will take aprx 2 months ( sounds a lot but there be a lot of work ) and they also have a minimum order to start prduction cost should be i rekon looking at other kits between 40 -70 for all pipes in any one of 7 colours so we can match our storms

Do these 5 all have to be the same colour?
If we're looking at black I'd definitely be happy to take the tally up to 3

Apexer

Can you get your contact to confirm the kit will be ALL the hoses?

Had the following reply from the VTR list
guys just a freindly note on this,Beware the set off hoses that samco make do not include the main rad to rad hoses or others, just the 7 small hoses.I know as i have an unused set at home.
Keith
I'll have a squint through the Haynes manual tonight(ish) to confirm how many separate hoses I think we'll need

well dont know wot to say about that as i know that they dont do a kit as yet for the fire storm only the sp1 and 2.

i have just hade conformation from them that i will need to give them the hoses so that they can make the kit now i do know that there is a lot of pipes on the vtr so do we want all of them or just the ones that are on show or can be seen. the other thing is ...... the more pipes in the kit the more it costs.

if we can all agree as to wot we want i can proceed from there

but be aware some of the pipes or right sods to change
plz let me know

Here is the thread on the VTR1000.org forum

http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5789

As you can see I’m not actually the one organising it (just as well –I’m crap!! J )

Just thought I’d help out and open it to a larger market

There's a thread on the 'other' VTR site

Anyone looking to replace their coolant hoses?

Samco are looking to make a VTR set BUT need at least
10 people to sign up before they'll start coz it
apparently costs them £1000+ to setup the tooling

Got 3 over there at the mo, so thought I'd canvas
opinion on here to see if I can rustle up some more

Approx cost £40 - £70

Either mail me directly, post on here or on the
VTR1000.org forum if definitely interested
