Newbie and advice please..
Hi to one and all. Just joined site and looks to be very useful and friendly.
Have had my Firestorm a little over a month now and very pleased with her. However is there any clear recommended tips for getting more miles out the tank. I know the storm has a bad tank range but had reserve light on the other day after commute to work and had only done 70 miles. Most of commute is 40 miles on motor/duel carriageway and 8 miles across London. Not a particular fast rider but would still have thought this was pretty poor.
Have standard bike except for scorpian cans and the 16 lt tank by the way. Bike only took 11 lt however after about 5 miles on the reserve light. Apart from a bigger tank or riding around in 6th gear all the time is there any other good tips out there....... Thanks

Thanks....
Did not think it sounded right. Got bike serviced by dealer when i bought it but they were not a Honda main dealer. Oil and filter have certainly been done but without removing bits it's hard to confirm that they have done the other stuff to. Got no reason to suspect the dealer as they seem a decent bunch.
Will monitor the range over next few weeks in case i never filled her right up last time. Runs fine apart from that but think i may stick with Honda in the future to insure the servicing is done right etc.
Do you think that fitting a K&N will make much difference as was going to fit one as i have done with all my Bikes in the past.
