headstock stand reccomendations
can anyone recommend a front headstock stand, I've been thinking of getting one for a while now. here are the cheaper options I've found on ebay, I do like the fact that certain ones can also be used as a rear paddock stand.

Hi AP, I take it you are in or around the London area?
If so I have had a quick look around that area on eBay & spotted a front stand from a guy I have bought some CBR parts from before. I don't think he deals with crap gear either
Might be worth keeping an eye on

Thats the stand that I bought and can highly recommend. Bought mine on ebay from Germany, Racombi Weiss if I remember correctly. Comes with a selection of head pins when new.

Re: headstock stand reccomendations
AP have you checked the ABBA front one its an additional part to the rear stand so you can get both wheels off the ground,

Re: headstock stand reccomendations
hi mate, my abba stand and front lift arm are staying in the uk for now, the headstock stand will be going out to spain, so I can do maintenance out there, I think I might go for a new one which doubles up as a rear paddock stand, less than £40 delivered.carmanbikes wrote:AP have you checked the ABBA front one its an additional part to the rear stand so you can get both wheels off the ground,

Bottle jack under the sump will lift the front using that in conduction with the Abba stand all should be good.

Have a look on ebay for item number 400926866152
Came next day delivery and has been holding the front of my zxr750 up without issue whilst the stanchions are off for rechrome.
Plenty substantial.
