Rearsets

Post by andrewlondon »

Does anyone actually make rearsets for firestorms anymore? I can see that Gilles do but they're over £300 which is about £100 more than i wanted to spend. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Cheers

Rearsets

I have Harris ones but don't know if they still make them. Calling them won't hurt I guess.
As soon as I read about the dangers of drinking too much, I immediately gave up reading.

I made my own for £16

They do everything I want of them, (namely give loads more ground clearance and don't flip up and nearly tip me of the inside of the bike as the standard flippy-up ones do!!!) so I'm very happy

Not too keen on the look of those to be honest, plus they need to be black. :-)

I might just have to bite the bullet and buy the giles ones, it just means i won't be able to do what i want with the exhaust. If anyone spots any harris ones going on the net and you're not interested yourself please post the link here. :-D

You can get the pegs I made mine with in black and then get the hanger powder coated

I've got some pics somewhere of ones that people have drilled which look very smart, almost like proper rearsets
