Re: longtime overdue makeover
a little update on the slow progress of this which now winter is here will hopefully speed up
had a few more parts coated
frame and the cause of this stripdown the seat frame
loom and few little bits placed
the swing arm just needs the big bearing pressing in and that will be ready, doing the wheels and forks next.

"Carls Brush and Touch Up"
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
Re: longtime overdue makeover
No, it would be knackered by now and rotting in a corner somewhere.nt1980 wrote:Love the fizzy my first bike in the same colour if only i kept it be worth something now
You never appreciate classic bikes when you own one, it's only when you later try to buy one.....
In my case one of the first 100 Triumph Trident ray gun pipes, four speed box, drum brakes 750's.
i can't afford one now, even to buy back my old knackered one
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: longtime overdue makeover

the older i get,the faster i was
Re: longtime overdue makeover
Plastic coating is done by nb coatings at pontefract. I'll be doing the engine covers in the same gloss black and simonize engine enammell for the rest of it.
