PipBUSA prepares for some flack

Well as you know the 'storms gone and been replaced by a busa.

What can I say, honestly it doesn't have the character of the storm but in every other way it totally annihilates the 'storm.

Acceleration is endless, it is sooooo smooth, comfy and it handles exceptionally well for what is a big bike.

Two up is revelation and my wife is so much happier :lol: . A big plus is 50 mpg!!! and a 200 mile tank range.

I know this post will get a slating and I do concede that I miss the flickability and the sound of the storm but I really do prefer the busa. I've done 1000 miles since Thursday and just don't want to get off it.

Before anyone says it, I know I will never use all the power but it's great to have it there all the same.

nae worries ..STORMABUSA.... 8O 1000 miles in 4 days . you wont have it long at that rate... :lol: :lol:

Hello Bud,

That is a worry, I rode back from Worthing (near Brighton, first ride =470miles) on Thursday and I thought that the tyres would be squared off by the time I got home but NO. It's got Mich Pilots on it and they don't seem to have squared off at all.

Time will tell it chews tyres (of course it will) but that's the problem with owning this type of bike, what I pay for in rubber I'm saving in fuel!!

Just a thought, I was with Bennetts on the storm, loads of probs just changing the bike insurance over, so I ended up going to Ebike, Bennetts quote for the busa £302, Ebike £180. I know a few other that use them and have needed to make claims (without problems) so if your insurance is up check them out.

Great minds think alike. I just moved my insurance to ebike 2 weeks ago.

Well for what its worth I think the busa is the best bike ever, a great shape and fantastic torque................and i wish i had one.
it may be clever, but its not big.

try 79 notes to insure my storm from bennets and that tpft with breakdown

Bennetts wanted £89 tpft for me but the excess they put on the policy was really taking the piss. I was happier paying ebike £40 more with a excess that I though was very reasonable. (and i got free breakdown, legal cover and all year round european cover (as if i'd get a chance to use it))
