The HRC one would probably be one of the last 16 litre tank bikes, If its the orangey HRC paint a load were painted up by dream machine to flog off the old bikes before the new updated storm appeared. Mines one of these and it was painted before it was sold to its original owner. (mines a 2000 on a W, some could have been registered later as storms never sold that fast)

I hope you do realise this is a 2000 bike registered in 2002. By this I mean a 16l tank model.

If you look at the clip ons in the picture they are silver. On the 19l bikes the "higher" clip ons are black.

IT WILL STILL BE A GREAT BIKE IT'S A STORM!

personnally i don't care if it had a 1litre tank hehe, I got one in the end, interesting to know that it is a 2000 model though, must have been stuck for a long time in a garage, but i suppose it is well worth it anyway.

I will be picking it up next Saturday or Sunday, a nice 350 mile car journey and 350 mile journey back, probably filling up 3 times lol, I just hope my back and wrists take the strain and i don't got lost.

Nickname emmmm, how about zzrstorm or stormteal god its hard thinking up a new nick hehe

Well done zzr600e1, it sounds like a very good buy to me, try finding one for that price in the shops :!: Being the earlier model it's reported to have a few more bhp than the later ones and going by road tests I've read in bike mag's that would appear to be correct :!:

There were a lot of 2000 built storms that did not get sold for a year or 2. My new storm is a 2001 registered model but it's a 2000 storm.

It won't have caused it any harm being layed up for so long would it ?
